We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic baker to join our team. In this role, you will be in charge of the daily operations of our bakery, handling the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and baking, along with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
1. Handle the preparation of ingredients for baking, including measuring and mixing.
2. Operate ovens and other commercial kitchen equipment.
3. Help maintain cleanliness and organization within the bakery area.
4. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all products are safe for consumption.
5. Handle the inventory management, including tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
6. Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained according to health standards.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
2. Food and Safety and Hygiene Level 2 Certificate.
3. Skilled and experienced in Nigerian special bread baking most especially Agege bread.
4. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to details.
6. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
7. A passion for baking and willingness to learn new skills in food production.
8. Artisan baking skills.
9. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings. night shifts, or weekends if required.
